Is It Too Late To Start A Podcast In 2022?

You may have heard someone says something to the tune of “just what we need, another podcast” Or “there are already enough podcasts in existence”

Both of those are FALSE.

Here’s why…

1. You are YOU! There’s only one YOU! You’re creating content for your audience. Who cares who else has a podcast?
2. There are only 2.4 million podcasts currently in existence. If you compare that to other platforms like YouTube which has over 15 million creators, that number is minuscule.
3. The amount of people consuming podcasts on a daily and weekly basis has grown to 29.5% over the past 3 years.
4. Podcasting is replacing the radio as we know it. Wound you have turned down a radio deal 15 years ago bc there were too many radio stations? (I think not)
5. Starting a podcast solves social media content problems bc you can repurpose your podcast content into micro-content for other social media platforms. This will be the norm for years to come.
6. Podcasts are constantly starting and stopping. There’s plenty of room for you to get in the game.
